James D Weygandt : Portfolio

Wildlife artwork is my passion, although you will see a variety of paintings and sculptures along the way. My loving parents gave me the opportunity to take private oil painting classes starting in fourth grade. I continued painting weekly until 12th grade.

I then went on to complete a degree in Commercial Art and Advertising. I have worked as an Art Director and Creative Director with several advertising agencies during my career. After years of working in Houston, I have since moved several years ago to the Lake Livingston area. I opened SplashCanvas™ Studios in 2016. A year ago I added Sherri Westfall to my team as we developed SplashyCanvas.
